Excellent video although I would change one thing. When someone isn’t speaking in English instead of putting someone speaking English over the person you should put subtitles

Especially for huge countries with tons of judo fans, like Brazil and Russia. Come on.

I like it that way, english is the language nearly anyone understands. so you aren't forced to read while watching.

GordonB Man Only some 5% of Brazilians speak English. Less than 10% of Russians speak English. That’s 330,000,000 (three hundred thirty MILLION) people unable to access an exclusive interview with one of their country’s stars. Brazil and Russia are always in the top 5 on the international rankings; that means they have a higher % of judo fans. They’re also two of the most populous counties in the world (#5 and #9, respectively); that means a high % of fans results in an enormous total number of fans. These are audiences that the IJF (emphasis on the “I”) should be tripping over themselves to service. Making content completely inaccessible to 90%+ of your two most important markets is unacceptable from a business standpoint. It’s completely avoidable. Additional money and time were spent on a dub that actually REDUCES their potential audience by 1/5. Gimme the damn subs.

As I expeccted, no mention of Israel being forced to start under the auspices of IJF. At least the commentator mentioned Flicker won gold for Israel. Still, extremely cowardly and shameful of IJF to put up with this kind of discrimination.
