This is why i love Judo even as a BJJ practitioner. I wish my Judo was half as good as these guys.

Professor Jiro Kano would be so proud of what he created. I wish I was atleast 25 years younger so play against such incredible athletics. Judo is beautiful. We now have Iichi for 2016 Olympics. I wish Judo would grow in America but as long as we don't have universal medical we shall never be able to complete with the rest of the countries that do have universal medicine. But GREAT with Harrison Jimmy

If you off-kilter someone do they have to be Scottish? When you remove their kilt they fall down? Weird. All of the Scotts that I know seem to have good balance.

I find the Judo that I learned in the past is not the same as the Judo that is being practiced and done competitively these days. Unfortunately, this beautiful system of Martial Art is suddenly becoming a homogenized form of simulated combat. In other words, we see more less ground fighting than what it was in the past. Also, the IJF did not do justice for the sport by removing below the belt throws like Morote Gari or Te Guruma. No wonder why most Judoka learn BJJ and wrestling these days...

its obvious not only do you know nothing about submissions but you were taught wrong. Crossing your legs relieves pressure fro the armbar. the corrct method is not crossing legs and pinching knees together for maximum effect. watch any video on it and stop being an ignoramus
