Uta Abe fought hard, but unfortunately did not reach the highest place on the podium this time. But with talent she has, many, many gold medals will still adorn Uta's neck and her beautiful smile will still light many gyms.

The reason why the 52k category was put last is clearly because Ute Abe is the poster girl for next year's Olympics. Nothing wrong in that. But why don't the commentators discuss this kind of thing in judo. They don't because they are employed by the IJF, so just skip over anything intriguing, unusual or controversial.

@@unknownslarry395 Oh, I see ☺️ I think Japan will dominate most of the judo - apart from 48k (Bilodid) and +100k (Rainier), maybe a few other categories too. But mostly Japan. I do not know wrestling.
