If what you're implying is that they're the same race as other ethnic groups of sub-saharan descent, then you're wrong, they're not black. In fact, they're the least related racial/ethnic group to Africans than Europeans, East Asians, Arabs, etc... Dark melanin skin does not mean they're black.

Actually people from the Solomon islands aren't black, They're Melanesian. Black is a social construct created by Americans. Skin color doesn't necessarily determine race.

I think these people are like one of the missing links of humanity, part of an ancient people how people looked before they evolved into europeans and other fair skinned people, cause they tend to have dark skin but unique features and silky curly hair or silky blonde curly hair or slightly kinky curly hair and sometimes blue or hazel green eyes I feel like we’re looking at how early man looked before evolving into modern man particularly white people I think this how early white people may have looked before they fully evolved to have fair skin blue eyes and silky straight hair just my opinion, their beautiful people though

This posts sounds...ignorant. Evolved? Try mutated. So you think some of these people continued to 'evolve' into white people but the rest of humanity stopped 'evolving'? Such a narcissistic way of looking at the world. Sometimes narcissism can blind people so much that they believe some stupid stupid things. All humans have been changing over the past millions of years.

@@alicem.5779 Who stopped evolving? Where is your evidence that they look the same as their ancestors did thousands of years ago? All humans have changed, are changing, and will continue to change. In fact, all living things have been changing and will continue to change. Think about it.

@@alicem.5779 It seems you and the original poster do not understand the term 'evolve'. Skin color is not the only measure of human mutation or evolution. Humans are changing in many different ways...height, ability digest certain foods or inability to. These are happening to all humans. It's silly (arrogant even) to think that only Europeans are changing. There are many more human traits than just skin color or hair color.
