I found out that Iranian Judo team received an invitation to participate in Kata world championship. Iran won the second place in Kata world Championship last year. Iran communicated with the American embassy in Turkey and Armenia. The American embassy in Armenia set up an interview for the team. The Team attended the interview and provided all the requested documents. The American embassy refused to give visa to the Iran team. This is clear that the refusal had a political motive behind it. I am wondering how they will feel if Iran refuses to provide American athletes visa to participate in Championships. I must add that Iran has never refused to give visa to American athletes in the past. The American athletes were received with open arms in Iran.
