Tough call, but I would say Heydarov. Look at his overall ranking score, this year he’s won all the major titles, in a category where you never have an easy fight. Riner and Abe are overall more dominant in their categories, but they have been doing very few competitions to get ready for the olympics. They have done a great job, but this year’s Heydarov’s imo.

Difficult to choose for me. Abe is my Favorite judoka. Riner is a legend but Heydarov deserve it as olympic and world champion in the same year.

Hifume Abe of course and an extra a lifetime achievement award and back to the original judo, not the wrestling style from Georgie, Azerbeidjan and someone on or someone from another weightcategorie (more than 150K).
