Congrat to her... 8 years of this kind of competition is too much. If she wants to retire I hope she can relax for the next 100 years and do many thing, But I still think that she should compete for one more cycle . Maybe not the whole one but just do for one more year and see what is going to happen. If she does not feel like doing any more perfect. But just one more year.

She is an amazing athlete. In the last race for Tokyo, she won gold medal at the world championships, and Christa finished 5th after she lost the semis. This bronze showed how mentally strong she is. It is very hard that she cant compete at the olympics, she had never been off the podium since 2020. Amazing judoka and amazing person. I hope we will whatch you in the next cycle, maybe another weight category. Im pretty sure she will be great in any category
