I like these big new graphics and detailed story leads in to the matches. I imagine most folks watch the medal matches anyway without a glimpse at the hard fought paths to the medal match. It's far more engaging than just the poor referee standing and staring. 😊👍 Good job.

IJF needs to change the Olympics qualifying somehow, a world champion out of the Olympics just because of the qualifying system, is not good neither for the sport, nor for the countries nor for the public wo likes Judo.

It is fun to look at emotions here. 1) Israeli girl: bronze - absolutely crazy-happy; 2) Japanese girl: gold - OK, just another day in the office.

@@fartsquirel880 this reasoning can go both ways, she could have thought smth like: "so good I took the gold here; not going to the olympics AND becoming only #2 here would be double disappointment, but luckily it did not happen"
